Accreditation
The Yale School of Medicine is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to sponsor continuing medical education for physicians. This educational activity is designated for a maximum of 5.5 Category 1 credits toward the AMA Physicians Recognition Award. Each physician should claim only those hours of credit that he/she actually spent in the educational activity.
The American Medical Association has determined that physicians not licensed in the US who participate in this CME activity are eligible for AMA PRA Category 1 credit.
Music Therapists: Pain Management Through Music Therapy is approved by CBMT for 7 continuing music therapy education credits. Credits awarded by the CBMT are accepted by the National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC). The New England Region of the American Music Therapy Association, #P-063, maintains responsibility for program quality and adherence to CBMT policies and criteria.
