YaleCME brings together the global expertise of Yale School of Medicine physicians and educators to present online multimedia courses featuring its world class clinical departments. Courses are organized into three areas:

• Yale Grand Rounds features world-renowned physicians who lecture on a wide spectrum of specialities and subspecialities, often introducing unique insights and new developments from their research. You can participate in the Grand Rounds lectures either in person, if your schedule permits, or online at your convenience. Each course offers one CME credit.
• Diabetes Program presents a webcast version of Yale’s successful Diabetes and Cardiology newsletter. Developed by the faculty of the Endocrinology Section of Internal Medicine, the course summarizes the latest information presented during the four leading Diabetes conferences. This course offers up to 11 CME credits annually.
• Mandated Courses include lectures on the four legally-required topics in Connecticut, including Infectious Diseases (such as HIV/AIDS), Risk Management, Sexual Assault and Domestic Violence. YaleCME is currently one of the few accredited organizations in Connecticut that provides these legally mandated courses in an online multimedia format. Each course offers one CME credit.

How do I receive credit?
With YaleCME, receiving official confirmation of your earned credits is easy. After completing the course requirements, you can print a CME certificate. You may take the course as many times as necessary to fulfill the course requirements.

Single-Course purchase allows users to choose among YaleCME content.

Registration Overview

• To register, visit http://www.cme.yale.edu and click “Online Learning” from the menu.
• On the YaleCME Online Learning webpage, click “Log In/Register” from the menu and complete the appropriate information in the “Create New Account” section.
• From the Course Catalog page, select the courses you wish to view and click “Add to Cart.”
• At the Checkout page, complete the appropriate payment information and then click “Checkout.”

The purchased courses will appear in your My YaleCME page where you may view each by clicking “Access Course.” To receive your YaleCME certificate, make sure you complete the evaluation form at the end of the course or by clicking the link “Go to Evaluation” from the My YaleCME page. If you do not have the program RealPlayer™, visit http://www.real.com to download the free media player. You may return to your course catalog to print your certificate.
